Stay Protected This Summer: Get Vaccinated at Our Clinic!

Summer is here, and it’s the perfect time to ensure your children are protected against preventable diseases. Vaccination is crucial for maintaining public health and safeguarding your family’s well-being.

Why Vaccinate?

Making sure that your child sees their doctor for well-child visits and recommended vaccines is one of the best things you can do to protect your child and community from serious diseases that are easily spread. Well-child visits and recommended vaccinations are essential and help make sure children stay healthy. Children who are not protected by vaccines are more likely to get diseases like measles and whooping cough. These diseases are extremely contagious and can be very serious, especially for babies and young children. In recent years, there have been outbreaks of these diseases, especially in communities with low vaccination rates.

Getting children and adolescents caught up with recommended vaccinations is the best way to protect them from a variety of vaccine-preventable diseases.  View the recommended Immunization Schedules | CDC. Additionally, please see chart at the end of this page for more information.

School Readiness and Our Mission

As the new school year approaches, it is important for children to be up-to-date with their vaccinations. Schools require proof of immunization for enrollment to protect all students from outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases. This is why our clinic is on a mission to spread awareness through our outreach initiatives and by reminding our patients with kids who come into our clinic.

Bay Area Community Health (BACH) is proud to be part of the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. The VFC program provides vaccines to eligible children at no cost, ensuring that children who are Medicaid-eligible, uninsured, underinsured, or American Indian/Alaska Native have access to necessary vaccinations. This aligns with our mission to provide affordable, quality healthcare for all.

To further increase our reach and help community health, we have partnered with several organizations in the East Bay. These partnerships allow us to extend our services and ensure more children are vaccinated and ready for school.
