Recognizing the need to expand COVID-19 testing to beyond patient populations and into the community at large, Alameda County has continued to partner with our member community health centers. Their most recent partnership is with La Clínica and Native American Health Center to expand free COVID-19 testing in the Fruitvale district in Oakland.
This area of Oakland has one of the highest rates of COVID-19 in Alameda County, more than 1,000 cases per 100,000 residents –double the rate across California.
Testing is available for anyone 18 or older. You do not need insurance. You will not be asked about immigration status.
